The Oregon International Port of Coos Bay Board will soon replace and expand B-Dock, the
Charleston Marina's dock for visiting boats in the 26- to 60-foot in length range, as part of the
2012 B-Dock Transient Float Design, Fabrication and Delivery Project. While the harbor offers a
safe haven when ocean conditions deteriorate, there are very few transient tie-up spaces available
in Charleston, and demand has been growing. In recognition of that need once the project is completed,
the port will provide transient slips for up to 13 vessels 50 feet in length and 449 feet
of broadside tie-up space to accommodate 20-23 boats.

The project is slated to be completed this year at Charleston Marina, Charleston, Oregon.
